Vice President - Strategic Product Management

Work you ll do

The Vice President - Strategic Product Management is focused on the building the strategy around the suite of Bersin products and will bring critical insights to our clients about how their HR and Talent data can impact their business. The candidate will be a product champion and should be a team leader with a consistent record of accomplishment for aligning and ensuring end-to-end organization readiness.

The position also entails understanding the challenges that Bersin by Deloitte customers face around their digital HR strategy. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic product management background.

As the VP of Strategic Product Management, you will:

Initiate comprehensive assessments of relevant industry trends and business requirements in order to help successfully develop product roadmap

Define and prioritize key target segments, understanding market needs and working with customer groups to refine product strategy.

Build and maintain the roadmap and strategy for Bersin by Deloitte

Ensure alignment with the overall business strategy and direction from the executive team

Develop an analytics strategy that unites and streamlines multiple analytics tools, interfaces, data processing, and data sources

Define market opportunities and requirements for identity data and analytics products

Participate in the agile product development lifecycle as a product owner, attending stand-up and sprint planning to represent the product priorities, managing product backlogs, and defining user stories.

Work with the documentation team on ensuring developer documentation stays up to date and accurate for relevant product areas

Execute full range of lifecycle management, from enhancements to new development

Define KPIs and analyze metrics to inform the success of product

Monitor, analyze and report on customer/decision-maker/end-user feedback and manage success and evolution of tools in the marketplace

Work closely with engineering, delivery, and marketing teams to deliver products to market.

Work with product marketing as needed to assist with co-marketing, and jointly promote new platform features

Work with marketing to educate internal stakeholders such as account management and deployment engineers on new features and platform changes

Help develop and deliver product training to sales and other channel teams

Provide product input to development of product collateral

Collaborate with the delivery and customer success teams on product rollout, deployment, and support

Provide timely reporting of alpha/beta programs, product launches/extensions, and ongoing sales, revenue and profitability performance against defined business targets

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field. MBA a plus.

8 years of demonstrated success in fast-paced product management role for software and/or SaaS-based products.

Experience working closely with engineering organization to define applications and tools and manage them through the entire product life cycle

Demonstrated ability to gather information from many sources (engineers, delivery, sales, executives and customers) and organize it into effective product requirements

Proven ability to successfully collaborate with internal stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful outcomes cross-functionally

Ability to work in an agile environment with rapid product innovation and iteration

Proven strategic thinking and business skills, with ability to understand key drivers that contribute to business success

Demonstrated skills in project execution, with ability to consistently produce quality results

Highly effective presentation development and delivery skills to internal and external audiences

Proven record of accomplishment of launching successful products, managing product releases and executing winning launches with a small team

Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred:

Master s degree

Experience working in a virtual, collaborative environment and providing and accepting continuous feedback and support

Experience with data science and developing data visualizations

Experience with the Software as a Service delivery model
