Deloitte Senior Technical Analyst in Sacramento, California

Primary Responsibilities

Senior Technical Analyst will:

  • Will have extensive experience as Technical Analyst, a deep understanding of SDLC processes.

  • Support the technical design and optimization of high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. Ensure adherence to best practices, technical standards and methodologies. Evaluate and design new technologies to improve efficiency and stay updated with industry trends.

  • Provide technical domain knowledge and support for system integrations, batch processes, resolving issues and optimizing performance.

  • Conduct analysis and provide recommendations for system improvements, optimizations, and best practices.

  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Document technical processes, configurations, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.

The GPS Human Services Transformation offering designs and implements large, complex systems development and transformation projects to Human Service agencies across federal, state, and local government agencies as well as higher education institutions. With end-users, customers, and workers at the center, we collaborate with our clients to deliver quality human services and work to support individuals in need. Some areas that we focus on include Children Services, Eligibility & Enrollment, Child Support Enforcement, and Labor & Workforce Development.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past ten (10) years on a large and complex IT systems development Project.

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience with the system development life cycle (SDLC) on maintenance and enhancement Projects that involved large and complex IT systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in technical analyst role, with a track record of successfully working with design or software development teams.

  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to system enhancements and optimizations.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus.

  • Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $76,725 to $127,875.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
