As a Senior PricingSpecialist, you will report to the Pricing Team Lead of your assigned team,supporting the pricing of new and existing business opportunities across ourGovernment and Public Services (GPS practice. The Senior Pricing Specialist willneed to be able to work with moderate supervision in the execution of thefollowing key responsibilities:
Perform proposal preparation, coordinates vendorquotes, and participates in quality assurance reviews with guidance from Team Lead.Performs proposal reviews with management, primarily in a support role.
Build and populate templates to facilitate identificationand population of staff within the estimating data - interact with EngagementTeam, Procurement, and outside sources to collect data for proposals, asapplicable.
Assist in the development and communication ofand execute pricing and subcontracting strategies within proposals.
Develop cost / price proposal exhibits to conveythe appropriate information necessary to convey our cost / price dataeffectively and compliantly.
Develop and communicate Pricing's requirementsin the proposal planning/ scheduling process. Review proposal with management.
Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documentation; identifyand develop questions based on the solicitation that impact Pricing complianceand strategy.
Coordinate review of the pricing volume withContracts and other internal groups
Lead the Pricing Volume content development and publicationprior to submission.
Performjob-related duties as assigned.

The GPS Enabling Areas teamprovides specialized support such as proposal pricing to Deloitte s internalbusiness units by developing new products and services to sustain competitiveadvantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems,processes, and functions.
Minimum 5 years in professional service in oneof the following disciplines (or combination thereof) pricing, program control,financial analysis, market research, or consulting focused on providing businessstrategies, competitive intelligence, or market research within the Federalmarketplace;
At least 3 years analytical experience(interpretation of data and reporting results);
Minimum of 3 years experience in the use ofMicrosoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel modeling foranalysis and data presentation, and PowerPoint for developing effectivepresentations;
Undergraduate degree is required, preferably inAccounting, Finance, or Business.
Knowledge of the proposal life cycle as well ascontract types, including fixed-price, cost, T&M/FPLH, GSA Schedules,BPA/IDIQs; Commercial and State & Local a plus
Understanding solicitation pricing requirementsand evaluation criteria
Concepts of Cost vs. Price and general knowledgeof cost accounting structures for direct and indirect costs
Ability to accurately develop and maintainpricing models, summarize data and perform peer validation / auditing functions
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) and other contractual regulations relating to proposal pricing a plus
The ideal candidate will have analytical skills, attentionto detail, be creative and inquisitive, and be able to be equally successfulworking independently and within a team. The candidate should have goodorganizational skills specifically around the management, analysis, andprocessing of large amounts of data to arrive at required outputs. As such, analytical skills and the generalability to use standard tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Word arenecessary.
