Work You ll Do:
Asa Lead Pricing Specialist on our team, you will report to the Pricing Team Leadof the assigned team, supporting the pricing of new and existing business opportunitiesacross our Government and Public Services (GPS) Practice. The Lead PricingSpecialist will need to be able to work with moderate supervision in theexecution of the following key responsibilities:
Performproposal preparation, coordinates vendor quotes, and participates in qualityassurance reviews with minimum guidance from Team Lead. Performs proposalreviews with management, primarily in a support role.
Buildand populate templates to facilitate identification and population of staff withinthe estimating data - interacting with the Engagement Team, Procurement, andoutside sources to collect data for proposals, as applicable.
Develop,communicate, and execute pricing and subcontracting strategies within proposals.
Developcost / price exhibits o convey the appropriate information necessary to conveyour cost / price data effectively and compliantly.
Developand communicate Pricing's requirements in the proposal planning/ schedulingprocess. Review proposal with management.
Reviewand interpret RFP/RFQ documentation; identify and develop questions based onthe solicitation that impact Pricing compliance and strategy.
Coordinatereview of the pricing volume with Contracts and other internal groups
Leadthe Pricing Volume content development and publication prior to submission.
Performjob-related duties as assigned.

The GPS Enabling Areas team provides specialized support suchas proposal pricing to Deloitte s internal business units by developing newproducts and services to sustain competitive advantage, while consistentlyimproving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.
Minimum5 years in professional service in one of the following disciplines (or combinationthereof) pricing, program control, financial analysis, market research, orconsulting, focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence,or market research within the Federal or State/Local/Higher Education marketplace;
Atleast 3 years analytical experience (interpretation of data and reportingresults);
Minimumof 3 years experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with astrong focus on Excel modeling for analysis and data presentation, and PowerPointfor developing effective presentations;
Undergraduatedegree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Knowledgeof the proposal life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price,cost, T&M/FPLH, GSA Schedules, BPA/IDIQs; Commercial and State & Locala plus
Understandingsolicitation pricing requirements and evaluation criteria
Conceptsof Cost vs. Price and Direct vs. Indirect rate structures
Abilityto accurately develop and maintain pricing models, summarize data and perform peer validation / auditingfunctions
Generalknowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) andother contractual regulations relating to proposal pricing a plus
Abilityto identify many commonly-used regulations and explain their relevancy to bidsand pricing in general.
Theideal candidate will have analytical skills, attention to detail, be creativeand inquisitive, and be able to be equally successful working independently andwithin a team. The candidate should have good organizational skillsspecifically around the management, analysis, and processing of large amountsof data to arrive at required outputs. As such, analytical skills and the general ability to use standard toolssuch as MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Word are necessary. The candidateshould also have excellent communication skills specifically the ability tocommunicate complicated pricing and procurement concepts to others that mayhave less expertise in the subject area.
