Work you'll do
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of client computer systems and applications across all networks, providing reliable, high availability services and optimizing server infrastructure to achieve high performance and cost efficiencies for virtual and on-virtual systems
Maintains configurations, updates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures to support storage operations and administration, and performs Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for distributed storage enclaves
Responsible for updating and maintaining the Disaster Recovery (DR) Plan, conducting established scheduled DR tests and tracking and reporting DR test results and lessons learned
Provides in-depth experience in troubleshooting systems
Supports the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware
Performs failover tests and provides feedback to client Information Assurance Branch and updates documentation as needed
Respond to employee concerns, draft documents and help employees use computer systems and coordinate with client leadership to assess new technologies that could enhance the client's computer systems
Perform project tasks independently and may lead workstreams, directing the efforts of others
Provides coaching to junior staff
Participate in and or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Use your prior experience to anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues
Contributes to proposal development

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
Minimum 5 years of relevant consulting or industry experience
System Administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields
Experience with Unix (RedHat) or Windows Server Operations
Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent
Experience with scripting and automation tools
Preferred:
Prior experience in Defense environment or Intelligence Community
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
