Deloitte Solution Architect in Rosslyn, Virginia

Work You'll DoAs a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for reviewing client requirements for cyber detect and respond work and helping validate, select, and design the best solution to meet the client requirements. You will work closely with Account teams in shaping and supporting pursuits and with cyber offering leadership in developing and growing our cyber product offering. Responsibilities for cyber solutions architect

  • Support Account Teams and clients by analyzing of business requirements and developing the best cyber operations solutions from the bespoke delivery, managed security services, or fully managed detect and respond services

  • Support business development efforts to grow and expand current cyber operations services

  • Maintain awareness of new and existing internal and external technology and management architectures, and solution offerings

  • Lead engineering assessments and selection of investments for SOCs, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cloud and End Point Defense, and evolving capabilities and strategies for cyber security

  • Lead technical strategic planning of current and future enterprise security domains including those which may introduce new service areas

  • Directly perform as leading SME for significant subset of security services

  • Analyzes complex systems architecture (application, network, system, and database, process) to identify design gaps and recommend security enhancements

  • Understands current emerging security threats and design security architecture to mitigate threats where possible

  • Works with project stakeholders to identify appropriate security requirements, engineer practical security solutions and implement measurable security guidelines

  • Reviews current security policy and standards to ensure technical security requirements, guidelines and best practices are communicated and put into practice for each assigned project

  • Serves as the information security subject matter expert, providing advisory and consulting service and functioning as a high-level security consultant to all projects and provide security expertise on how to implement best security practices for security operations centers and cyber operations tasks

    Qualifications for cyber architect

  • Experience helping to define requirements based on customer operational activity

  • Certifications such as CISSP or other security certifications CEH, ISSAP/ISSMP, CRISC, SANS

  • Foster collaborative relationships with the suppliers, practitioners, and industry organizations

  • BS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 14 years of experience

  • Experience in Security Operations Center design and operations, to include Threat Monitoring, Threat Hunting, Cyber Threat Intel, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, and Insider Threat

  • Experience in business development

    Preferred:

  • Ability to speak to technical architecture and understand how it would connect into a client's infrastructure

  • Ability to work with complex business requirements and translating them into the design of solutions, including multi product demos, user story creation, business rules

  • Understand the competitive landscape and understand where our products play within that landscape

  • Highly self-motivated, passionate team-oriented individual

  • Experience developing cost proposals with Finance, etc.

  • Expert oral, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
