Deloitte is looking for a Software Developers to join our team and help accelerate a federal mission client's discovery and delivery of identity and network-based intelligence insights to counter national security threats and malicious actors. Our software developers will assist in crafting, testing, and recommending scalable, flexible, and resilient designs and implement integrations with a standard platforms in a cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategizing overall build tools and software to facilitate information and data sharing, and advance analytic practices. They will also collaborate with mission customers and analytics team members to drive software development in support to the intelligence cycle.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Active Top Secret security clearance required
Onsite work required at least 80%
4+ years experience with software development supporting IT system development and modernization for federal clients
• Results/client oriented and capable of translating business needs to technical solutions
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Team oriented
• Experience with either python OR java
• Willingness to develop in both java AND python
• Familiarity OR willingness to learn cloud native development
• Experience with version control solutions (e.g. Git)
• Experience with Node/Angular
• Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and software/application development
• Meaningful exposure to CI/CD Processes, Docker/Kubernetes, IDEs such as VS Code and NoSQL/Document DBs
• Experience with container images (Kubernetes, etc), and SQL and NoSQL stores.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in a daily basis.
