Work You'll Do
This Machine Learning Engineer will:
Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex problems related to various mission focus areas
Leverage various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google cloud to build, train, and deploy machine learning models at scale
Collaborate with team members to establish data pipelines for model training and inference
Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms for efficiency and performance
Conduct thorough experimentation and analysis to improve model accuracy and performance
Participate in informal and formal code reviews
Participate in architectural reviews and offer alternative architectural patterns to optimize application performance
Document processes and solutionsthat serve as communication findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholder

The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Active TS/SCI security clearance or above
8+ years of experience machine learning / machine learning engineering
6+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
6+ years of experience with major cloud platformsincluding AWS, Azure, or GCP
6+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, along with libraries like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
6+ years of experience in an Agile Environment
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
Deep knowledge of security best practices, experience with cloud security tools, and working with role and attribute based security models
Deep knowledge of DevSecOps and MLOPs
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
