Work you'll do

This Program Support is managing the travel program of one of Government clients. This person will be helping manage the travelers and their locations and monitoring the updates to the systems based on the timing to those trips

This person will provide hands-on Training, Conference and Hotel Lodging Program Management Support for the client's CFO.

Your tasks will include: -Training and Conference Program Support -Ensure that all training and conference planning actions comply with policies. -Review cost estimates, project codes -Input data into a web-based training and conference attendance tool. -Identify the purpose of a training and/or conference (i.e., mission critical, educational, or instructional) -Collaborate with Directorates/Divisions/Programs regarding submissions and justifications. -Prepare all required reporting related to conferences planned and proposed for the upcoming fiscal year and actual conference spending data for that fiscal year. -Prepare materials for the budget division to conduct internal and external audits for all hosted/non-hosted training and/or conferences, to include individual audits of attendance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. -Recommend changes to methodology to identify, track, and review all internal and DHS incoming requests.

As a Hotel Contract Lodging Program Support, you will also: - Utilize understanding of GSA Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) policies and internal housing accommodations/contract lodging policies.

  • Ensure all hotel contract requests for approval will be received and routed appropriately.

  • Track, log, and review all incoming requests for completeness to include lodging information and signature.

  • Route incoming requests to obtain additional electronic signatures

Qualifications:

-4+ Years of experience doing the Job Responsibilities listed above -Public Trust (or ability to obtain one) -Bachelors degree -Change Management -Communications with clients / high - level exec -Training -Program Management
