Work you'll do
Primary responsibilities manage and determine the best technology solutions that meet their desired virtual or hybrid meeting outcomes for the firm. In this role you will consult with third parties and vendors on the future design of meetings, video conferences and other events either independently or in conjunction with US Meeting and Event Services, US Event Enablement, or Global Programs. You will lead the evaluation process, coordinate with stakeholders, communicate up to leadership, and prepare organized comparisons to existing technologies. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages. Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements. Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards. Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
Additionally, you execute on existing programs being executed by the team. These duties typically depend on the type of events designed. You will oversee all production and technical aspects of an event. Responsible for pre-production (planning calls), production (execution of event) to post-production (post event reporting/surveys). Ensure the set-up and working order of all audio-visual elements and work closely with the clients to implement their vision. Sets deadlines for content delivery and ensures deadlines are met. Utilize extensive experience and event knowledge to help develop a plan for the execution of client ideas.
Develop and implement process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production. Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives and recommend them to leadership. Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
Position required in support of various Deloitte Studios in addition to increasing business needs in traveling to support live streaming program requests in various region as appropriate. They will be responsible for event planning, logistics, equipment operation and live streaming program execution.
Job Duties:
Responsible for the execution of a variety of event technology solutions, provide audio/visual consultation, including virtual registration, mobile apps, virtual events, hybrid events, meeting hub and digital production.
Consult with third parties and vendors on the future design of meetings, video conferences and other events.
Responsible for the evaluation process, coordinating with stakeholders, communicating up to leadership, and preparing organized comparisons to existing technologies.
Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality, and reliability.
Maintain technology documentation and operational upkeep for Audio Video applications/products.
Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages. Investigate problems, analyze root causes, and derive resolutions.
Evaluate new applications/products and maintains standards for firm audio/visual technology and services.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Hybrid/Onsite work arrangement with some travel.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Project Management and/or Technology Transformation
Minimum 2 years hands on experience in virtual production or client facing work
Minimum 1 year in people and performance management and/or leadership
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and MS Office Suite.
Virtual Event Platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc.). Optional, SharePoint, Visio, Tableau, ServiceNow.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic graphic design skills.
Experience communicating with a diverse audience, including the ability to propose solutions and explanations in writing.
Experience with a various event technology platforms and AV equipment (Virtual and Web Conferencing Platforms, Gamification, Attendance/Registration tracking, Appointment Scheduling, Mobile Apps, Communications, Event Analytics, & etc.).
This position will be privy to confidential, classified, and unpublished information; therefore, it is critical that discretion and confidentially are always exercised and at the forefront of all communications written and verbal.
Creative, analytical thinkers, capable of handling quantitative and technical duties while also using their eye for design to implement the visual aspects of an event.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and manage complex calendaring systems and databases.
Experience taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to juggle many different tasks, skilled communication with a diverse audience, including ability to propose solutions and explanations in writing and collaborate with a wide range of teams to oversee events.
Decision makers, assertive, capable of directing others and implementing projects with little to no supervision.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,480 to $177,470.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
