Lead, GPS Contracts

Job Summary

Supports Deloitte s portfolio of product and product bases solutionGovernmentwide contracts (GWC) as a part of the Deloitte Government and PublicServices sector. Supports activities related to complex contractualmatters associated with the pre and post award management of GWC (Federal,state, and local municipalities) vehicles. Examples of the GWC contracts caninclude the GSA Schedules/GWAC/MACs and State, Local, Higher Education (SLHE)such as NASPO ValuePoint. Supportsactivities that enable Deloitte to secure positions on GWC vehicles. Interfaces with internal and external clients, performs contract negotiationsand ensures completion of various contract projects. Performs reviews andprovides analysis of matters related to the sale of products and product-basedsolutions on GWC contracts and communicates results to inform proposal strategyand development. Individuals in this role will have the ability interfacewith client representatives and will assist with the development of policiesrelated to GWC vehicles and their administration. Supports negotiationsand the completion of various GWC contract projects. Supports the GWC portfoliocompliance program to ensure contracts administration is conducted in anefficient and compliant manner. Ability to effectively communicate peersand internal leadership and clients.

Illustrative Duties andResponsibilities

  • Responsible for compliance and accuracy of the contractsadministration within assigned area of responsibility.

  • Serves as Principal Advisor on matters related to assignedGWC portfolio and works to align team actions with Practice strategy andobjectives.

  • Maintain and add products to assigned contracts portfolioincluding GSA Schedules and SLHE contract vehicles and oversees registration onstate and municipal bidders list.

  • Monitors assigned portfolio to identify compliance riskareas and opportunities.

  • Identifies, establishes, and maintains client relationships.

  • Effectively works with stakeholders to assess Federalprocurement policy and implement required actions.

  • Influences and secures approval from leadership for desiredsolutions. Assists with the implementation of solutions, guides, educatesand trains account and contracts personnel.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert on assigned contracts andcommunicates key messages to stakeholders

  • Leads and coaches assigned resources.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United Stateswithout the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • All candidates must be willing and able to travel as neededfor their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, post positions arein-office-based with limited travel required. Ability to travel up to25%. While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19,non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.

The Team

The GPSC Central Support team isresponsible for the contract administration activities for the DeloitteGovernment and Public Services (GPS) Practice. The Specialist willprovide the necessary support to compliant delivery of key contract andsubcontract administration activities. The Specialist will work directlywith team members, other Contracts personnel, Project Engagement Leadership andEnabling Area POCs to coordinate all the relevant information required tofacilitate compliant contract and subcontract management.
