Lead Data Engineer

Work You'll Do

  • Individual must have advanced knowledge and hands-on experience to enable Enterprise Information Management services (e.g. metadata management, data tagging, data cataloging, etc.), data pipeline services based on mission needs and objectives. security into infrastructure, platforms, and software.

  • Experience with enterprise streaming data use cases is preferred. This labor competency is responsible to plan and operate under a platform Authority to Operate in cloud environments, and have hands-on experience in Risk Management Framework (RMF) security assessments, documenting assessments, and communicating the outcomes of these assessments to leadership.

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with agile and DevSecOps methodologies.

  • TS/SCI clearance.

The GPS Analytics and Cognitive (A&C) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree, with concentrations/focus in security or equivalent, or a minimum 6 years of enterprise data and information management experience

  • 4+ years' experience working with real-time and batched scalable enterprise data architecture processes and Enterprise Information Management technologies; data engineering with data technologies such as Spark and integration with enterprise access control services are desired

  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP) or equivalent is desired

  • 2+ years' experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes desired

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
