Work you'll do
This position will review documents to ensure they meet the completeness standards necessary to invoice the program, make accurate billing and coding determinations, and prepare the final documentation package for submission.
Medical Billing Specialists may be asked to perform any of the following tasks:
Review medical documents to confirm completeness and accuracy
Apply specific billing practices to make invoicing determinations
Follow established escalation processes for complex reviews requiring expert assistance
Perform data analyses to identify quality and productivity trends
Assist with activities related to period invoice audits (e.g., reconciliation, review, and response)
Conduct tasks with extreme attention to detail
Remain up-to-date knowledge of SOPs

Qualifications
Required:
Associates degree required
2+ years of relevant experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
