As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing customized Digital solutions (Salesforce Platform) for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system administrators, to understand needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Work You'll Do

  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST and SOAP APIs

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, and provide technical guidance on Salesforce best practices

  • Create and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plans

  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and functionalities, and evaluate their applicability to our organization's needs

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

  • Utilize the client Development Operations (DevOps) systems and tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.) to ensure compliant code and ensure best practices

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and deliver custom-built software solutions

  • Support a portfolio of applications from a holistic standpoint to understand various complex product requirements, mitigate challenges and integrate software

  • Manage own personal and professional development, seeking opportunities for expansion of skills and expertise

  • Share passion for about new web technologies/techniques

  • Work closely with both design and quality assurance

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience using web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React

  • 2+ years of experience using back-end languages such as Java, Python, Spring

  • 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required for this role

  • Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Chantilly, VA

Preferred:

  • Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit testing

  • Experience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with Git

  • Familiarity with DBMS technology, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL

  • Agile development on a scrum team experience, using Agile project management tools (JIRA), and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience creating and consuming REST APIs that meet performance and security requirements

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with Salesforce development tools and technologies, such as Salesforce DX and Git

  • Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II

  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components

  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs

  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
