Work you'll do

Senior Developer/Architect that teaches agile engineering concepts like TDDD, microservices design patterns, test automation engineering, CI/CD, strangler fig pattern for modernizing, etc. The Agile Engineering coach will use this knowledge to contribute to the Agile Dojo Playbook from an engineering perspective, and then to begin defining the practices for the pilot, leading the dojo engineering effort.

  • Help transition our business from its existing work practices to a real technical agile understanding from the top-down

  • Analyze the existing agile infrastructure and implement improvements to help streamline processes

  • Coach, mentor, and guide scrum teams to determine the best solutions for their specific department challenges

  • Play a key role in the long-term strategy across the entire organization, helping the teams to improve value streams and deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner

  • Help with DevSecOps process and tools implementation

  • Drive the adoption of best practices and standards related to development, CI/CD and testing

  • Help Development, QA, and test automation team coordination during sprints

  • Lead technical related agile workshops for development, testing and functional teams, as well as key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Agile Process Coach to approach situations from a holistic viewpoint

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience with Pair Programming, Mob Programming, and Test Driven Development

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Secret Clearance for this role

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Travel up to 25%

  • Competency in the following areas: Behavior Driven Development, Microservice Design Patterns, Agile Engineering
