Work you'll do
Join our team as a Lead Technical Consultant to drive process improvement and data analytics using Power Platform and emerging technologies. This projects aims at refining and automating processes for programs that address Public Health issues in the US. You'll play a pivotal role in managing client relationships, demonstrating SME expertise, and leveraging PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Query, and Power Automate to drive efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven insights and automation solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Translate program needs to technical solutions and identify opportunities for additional Deloitte support or growth of work, including identifying emerging technology trends or needs within the client and upskill as needed
Serve as a trusted advisor by working directly with the clients to provide guidance on available tools and expertise on implementation
Design, develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to provide insights into the performance of government health organization processes.
Utilize Power Apps to create custom applications that streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Leverage Power Query to transform and shape data from various sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
Design and implement automation solutions using Power Automate to streamline repetitive tasks and optimize processes.
Facilitate client discussions around technical requirements to inform future deliverables and scope expansion.
Provide recommendations related to federal grants management and process improvement.
Oversee and foster technical skill growth with peers and junior technical staff.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform-related issues.

The GPS AI & Data Engineering (AI&DE) offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
Master's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Ability to travel 5-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
3+ years of experience supporting one or more data visualization tool (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview)
Experience in querying cloud-based SQL databases such as Databricks
Experience with Power Platform technologies

Experience with Power Platform technologies (PowerBI, Power Apps, Power Query, Power Automate).

Experience in providing technical support and communicating findings to stakeholders working in Federal Grants Management in the Public Health domain.
Experience in VBA development.
