Work You'll Do
This Data Analyst will:
Play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive operations and decision making.
Manipulate, statistically analyze, and visualize mission data will be essential to our team's ability to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and optimize processes.
Apply analytic tradecraft to mission problems and translate that into code via data analysis, automation and machine learning models.
Regularly involve thinking critically and devising innovative solutions to expedite and enhance complex data challenges for mission end users.
Work with highly technical data science teams and functional stakeholders, and your ability to speak and work in a shared language with them will be invaluable.

The GPS AI & Data Engineering offering is responsible for developing advanced analytics products and applying data visualization and statistical programming tools to enterprise data in order to advance and enable the key mission outcomes for our clients. Our team supports all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions through data collection and ETL, and from performing analyses and using a wide range of statistical, machine learning, and applied mathematical techniques to delivery insights to decision-makers. Our practitioners give special attention to the interplay between data and the business processes that produce it and the decision-makers that consume insights.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Active TS/SCI security clearance or above
Able to work 60% on-site at a client SCIF in Washington D.C.
4+ years of experience writing functional Python code to automate routine tasks and explore and analyze data
4+ years of experience visualizing data to understand trends, patterns, and elucidate insights
1+ years of experience with ETL
1+ years of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and/or remote computing
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
Hands-on experience working in Cloud environments, particularly AWS
Federal government consulting experience
Experience with research and analysis in the Intelligence Community (IC)
Hands-on experience training, selecting, and evaluating machine learning models
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
