Work you ll do
In this highly visible role, our selected candidate will manage mid-sized (20 ) IT Operations Teams supporting Tier 2 and Tier 3 day-to-day application support operations encompassing user support, monitoring, and incident/outage response for both legacy and DevSecOps models. Your ability to engage with diverse technical and business stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in for strategic operations efforts (technical projects, process improvements, operations organization/administration) will be ideal.
Additional responsibilities of our Technical Operations Management function encompass:
Coordinates with our Client and Data Center personnel, as needed, to resolve issues at their various Data Centers
Supports customer requests for IT-related help and provides support to our Clients Systems users and Industry
Oversees the triage and resolution of Client Systems Helpdesk tickets related to the support of their Users IT requests in accordance with Customer guidelines for triaging and supporting Tier 2/3 trouble tickets, while overseeing the support of ad hoc reporting requests
Oversees operations incident response, resolution, and root cause analysis coordination
U.S. Citizenship is required, as is an active Public Trust Clearance
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years experience with DevSecOps and Traditional Operations experience, as well as a completed Bachelor s Degree.

Proven expertise involving Application Operations (Sys Enhancements, Defects, Releases, etc..), and Infrastructure Operations is a plus.
Experience with EPLC and ITIL release management activities.
Developing, tuning, and analyzing Operations metrics to evaluate performance against IT Ops SLAs/KPIs (meant time to respond, mean time to resolve, uptime).
Ability to coordinate with multiple upstream, downstream, and peripheral Teams (including Team Leads) to drive efficient IT Operations for a mid-sized (30 ) application portfolio.
Ability to build, refine, and maintain IT Operations Project schedules and project plans.
Ability to author, review, and refine major Operations written deliverables, SOPs, policies, and presentations.
Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Openshift Container Platform, CI/CD pipelines, and automation/orchestration), as well as familiarity with managing IT Operations through ServiceNow (queue oversight, dashboards).
Familiarity with IT Operations monitoring tools (AppDynamic, SolarWinds)
