Deloitte Oracle DB Developer/Applications DBA in Rochester, New York

Work you'll do

We are looking for a motivated Oracle database professional to join our team to support our clients core DBAs. In order to be successful in this position you will need to understand data and database management, experience creating database objects, develop stored procedures, stored functions, triggers, and views. You will be supporting developers and testers to make sure that there are not impediments to the development team.

Teams assess current business processes and capabilities as part of digital transformation initiatives and support strategic priorities across clients' enterprises.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years' experience as an Oracle applications DBA

  • Experience with PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting, and Toad

  • Experience with performance tuning

  • Data Modeling and maintaining objects

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Travel up to 25%
