Deloitte Sr. Graphic Designer - McLean in Richmond, Virginia

We are searching for a talented digital designer to create engaging online content, graphics for video, web, environmental and print. You'll be responsible for producing content matching our GPS client's vision and marketing strategy, including social media graphics, website banners, other design elements and print material. You will be asked to be more than a graphic designer - filling in the gaps between creative design and marketing strategy.

This client program provides the rest of their organization and external partners with enterprise-wide Information Technology and data science mission support services. The engagement team is seeking support in developing creative communications materials and content for distribution to senior leadership and external customers to garner stakeholder support. Lines of effort may include marketing material ideation and development, developing roadmaps, defining SOPs and roles and responsibilities - with potential for future branding work.

Work you'll do:

  • Design cutting edge graphics

  • Provide creative vision to the content creation process, bringing your own style to create beautifully composed work

  • Work collaboratively to establish an original creative vision at the start of each project (we're not just going to hand you a pile of assets and wish you luck), to include pitching original concepts, and development of storyboards and/or treatment books

  • Collaborate intimately with the client to aid in the production of their creative communication plans and marketing materials

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience conceptualizing, creating, and editing graphics

  • Experience working directly with clients to gather requirements, pitch design concepts, iterate on content, and deliver the final product (or similar relevant experience)

  • Experience collaborating within a small-to-medium-sized team of creatives

  • Experience writing or overseeing long and short form content for use in marketing materials

  • Ability to be on site 100% of the time in Mclean, VA

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • History of telling compelling stories through unique creative assets and visual interactions

  • Experience editing video assets (Premiere preferred)

  • Color correction experience

  • Advanced knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Web, social media, Marketing Graphics

  • Skills in the following area: Roadmap Development, Online Content, Marketing Materials, Creative Communication, Visual Media, Communications, Branding, Strategic Thinking

  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
