Deloitte Sales Excellence RFP Response Support Enabling Senior Consultant in Richmond, Virginia

Location: Continental United States, Virtual, East Coast preferred for time zone coordination

Work You'll Do:

As an RFP Response Support Specialist, you will work directly within the Pursuit Studio supporting pursuit teams across US Consulting to develop first draft proposals. You will also help support and maintain our repositories to ensure that current, high quality content is included in our proposal products.

  • Proposal Responses

  • Create draft proposals using Deloitte's content repository and automation tool, Qvidian, synthesize all content, and ensure a quality first draft is developed

  • Utilize multiple sources and liaise with other teams as necessary

  • Provide writing and editorial review for style, usability, and readability

  • Be committed to continuous improvement as we advance our capabilities

  • Content Development

  • Own, curate, and update sales assets that have been developed within the team periodically to ensure data is current

  • Work with subject matter experts to review and improve existing content and

  • Facilitate the continuous improvement of sales content

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, humanities, liberal arts, or related disciplines with a minimum of three years of experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional writing and copyediting skills with an acute attention to detail

  • Experience working on sales proposals

  • Proactive, with demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Flexible / adaptable to change

  • Strong work ethic

  • Ability to work successfully in a team

  • Able to analyze and interpret sales related questions and inquiries

  • Strong research skills

  • Ability to synthesize multiple sources of information into clean, succinct paragraphs

  • Ability to work well under pressure and under short deadlines

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint

  • Works independently to develop deep knowledge in chosen specialization

  • Experience with Qvidian preferred

  • Eastern or Central time zone (for ease of coordination)

The Team

The U.S. Consulting Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE) team is dedicated to the success of the firm's sales efforts as they are defined by Deloitte Consulting leadership. The team supports sales success by driving continuous improvement in sales effectiveness which is executed through two channels:

1) Commitment to bring the best resources and capabilities to pursuits, and

2) Applying lessons learned to enhance learning and development of client service staff.

The team works with client pursuit teams to refine the sales strategy, establish and execute an organized pursuit plan, and deliver a high quality and innovative proposal and orals presentation. Value is delivered through challenging and improving the sales process to free the client service team to focus on the client problem and our solution. To extend services more broadly across Consulting, the PCOE established a virtual RFP Response Support organization, called the Proposal Studio.
