Deloitte Jr. Video Capture Support/Producer in Richmond, Virginia
You are the perfect blend of visual storytelling meets business development. You have a passion for storytelling, and more importantly, how to take a business journey and give it creative class and flair. You also understand business development and can help executives and leaders put together video proposal responses using video best practices. You are familiar with the Federal Proposal lifecycle and can discern the complex language of a TOR or an RFP to establish compliance drivers for the video response.
Alongside the Video Capture Manager, you'll support initial interactions with clients to determine project scope, potential storyboards and scripts of a video proposal response. You'll also work with the internal video team to accomplish the project at hand and help manage the overall story and its scope from end to end. You are extremely organized and flexible and experienced in working with tight timelines. Finally, you are an integrator with the ability to enable other people to be successful within their role on a project.
Work you'll do
Support stakeholders and the film team in determining logistics and requirements and shape the concept, story, and script with content specialists
Support the Video Capture Manager on stakeholder communications and approvals
Support pre-production calls
Support production calls and post-production calls as needed
Work with the Video Capture Manager to determine overall project schedule and keep it on time and on budget
Be a resource throughout the project for story management
Be an on-set resource as needed
Some basic editing work, and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and its tools
Knowledge of, and comfort posting to, a variety of file delivery tools (and familiarity with privacy settings and other features), including: Vimeo, YouTube, Google Drive, frame.io and more
Basic knowledge of 508 Compliance requirements, including how to create an .SRT or similar sidecar file for closed captioning
1+ years of experience on client-facing projects and project management
1+ years of capture and/or bid and proposal work, notably at the Federal government level
1+ years experience managing multiple concurrent projects with short timelines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Filmmaking or writing degree/accreditation
Strong writing experience
Experience pitching new projects and creative concepts to new and existing stakeholders
Confidence and presence while embedded in teams with leaders and of various sizes
Experience producing short films with small, agile teams
Experience with capture and bid and proposal work like FEDSIM responses
