Deloitte Data Engineering Snowflake Architect in Richmond, Virginia

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• A large healthcare client is seeking to build a robust infrastructure to enable seamless and automated processing of inter-company risk arrangements and cost-plus pricing contracts. The project involves setting up data warehouse on Snowflake to build analytics that support creation of pricing contracts.

• Coordinating between onshore and offshore teams to lead implementation.

• Working with client teams to expand business requirements

• Implement data pipelines in Snowflake using Streams and Spark

• Implement orchestration of pipelines on AWS and GCP

• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.



  • 15+ years' experience in data engineering, data warehouse, and software development

  • 15+ years of consulting experience

  • 10+ years of Snowflake, Informatica, Teradata, AWS, and GCP

  • Expert in Streams, Tasks, Snow pipe, S3, Snow SQL, and Python technologies

  • Skilled in leading large teams onshore and offshore

  • Ability to lead design of data warehouse implementations on Snowflake

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline

  • Analytical/decision making responsibilities

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

  • Excellent communication skills
