Work You Will Do:
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build and deliver custom-built software solutions.
Serve clients by building applications quickly & efficiently consume APIs and meet demanding performance and security requirements
Create a modularized set of front-end components that make it easier to maintain and reuse for future capabilities and applications
Be a flexible, self-starter, to work independently and complete tasks
Exchange knowledge and work together to implement solutions across the full stack
Incorporate new technologies and tools to strengthen and sharpen your skills
This is a hands-on role with extensive involvement in developing, implementing, operating, and enhancing products
Qualifications
Required:
This is a remote position but requires candidate to support the project in central time zone
7+ years of work experience
At least 5+ years of experience with hands-on Python development
Mastered understanding of software tools and the ability to be a conduit between engineering/client leadership and engineering direction
In depth experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, business logic layer, data access layer)
Experience in distributed architectures using integration APIs to integrate with third-parties and hubs such as ESB's
Demonstrates hands-on experience with relational databases (such as PostgreSQL, Azure SQL Server or similar) and Non-Relational NoSQL DB (such as Azure CosmosDB NoSQL API)
Strong skills required in following areas:
Programming Languages: Python v3.9, Node.js, SQL Query
Unit Testing Frameworks: Pytest
Databases: Postgres 14.6, Azure CosmosDB, Azure SQL Server
Infrastructure: Azure function 4.x, Azure blob storage, Azure Logic apps
IAM: Azure AD B2C
DevOps/IaaC: Azure DevOps, Terraform
Protocols: SMTP, SFTP
May need to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
Front end development experience in following areas is a plus:
TypeScript or EcmaScript is a plus (ES6 or latest should be fine)
Experience in handling Style sheets with either CSS or SCSS or BootStrap or similar
Frontend development experience with React and Node.js
Experience in developing RESTful APIs
Experience in building multi module projects, compiling, building, and packaging the source code and deploying them using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Experience in Writing Unit Test Cases with Pytest
Practical DevOps knowledge with build jobs, containerization, and deploying web applications in the cloud
Experience writing data driven tests, mocking, and unit tests in each layer
Experience cloning, branching, committing, and submitting pull requests with Git
Experience coding microservices (any language)
Experience working with data scientists and integrating analytical models
Agile development on a scrum team
Display a good understanding of database principles/SQL beyond just data access
Security, encryption, and data protection

At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,000 to $148,000.
