Deloitte Senior, Strategy Development Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina
M&A and Restructuring Services (MARS) is a Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) that spans all four of Deloitte's functional businesses. The National MARS team supports the cross-functional MARS leadership team by leading and executing strategic projects and initiatives that support our strategy and growth ambition. We play a key role in providing connectivity and building engagement across our complex, multifaceted practice.
Our team seeks an experienced and energetic Senior Analyst-level professional with outstanding analytical, communications and project management skills to join our team.
Responsibilities
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in support of key initiatives; e.g.,
Work closely with the Finance team on data analysis, including financial, client, and market data to identify opportunities and trends;
Conduct company research using multiple platforms (e.g., D&B Hoovers, Pitchbook, Refinitiv) to assist with client segmentation; etc.
Analyze and track data and information (KPIs, milestones, success stories, etc.), to quantify and communicate our practice impact and progress against strategic priorities
Provide support for MARS-wide tracking and coordination related to our market share and cross-functional mega-deal participation
Work closely with other members of the MARS national team to execute complex, high-visibility efforts such as our biennial PPMD Leadership Summit
Assist in the development of materials for MARS leadership meetings, or meetings where MARS is presenting to other leadership and stakeholder groups (e.g., Lead Client Service Partners community or Deloitte US Board)
Work with MARS leadership and other members of the MARS National team on special projects and presentations as needed
Coordinate meetings across multiple senior stakeholders; manage logistics and contribute to agenda and content

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, with preference for a business-related (e.g., Finance, Economics) or a technical discipline
3+ years of prior relevant experience in client-facing or internal roles within professional services organization such as Deloitte
Flexible work style with possible travel (up to 5%-10%)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Additional Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of the M&A and Restructuring / Performance Improvement
Knowledge of the Private Equity industry and business model
Understanding of Deloitte's organizational structure and client service business
Familiarity with external data and research sources such as PitchBook, Refinitiv, MergerMarket, D&B Hoovers
Familiarity with Excel and data analysis tools such as VBA and Tableau
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $59,035.00 to $108,715.00.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
