We are looking for a technical product manager to join our growing Digital team, contributing to the success of the technologies we build for our clients, which commonly include mobile applications and web presences. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and exude excitement for seeing software products through fruition. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Work you'll do

As a Program Manager in our practice you will:

  • Manage the product development process from ideation through delivery for a wide-range of technology mediums and clients

  • Own the agile development process to create potentially shippable products each iteration

  • Serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs

  • Work with development teams, clients, and integration partners on a variety of emerging-tech apps and services

  • Develop visions and roadmaps for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers and the market

  • Prioritize features based on needs and benefits of the client organization, to include its user base, to maximize product value

  • Define and track KPIs and other measurable success criteria

  • Employ a strong empathy for users and stakeholders to generate products with satisfying user experiences

  • Understand and define a client's problem and articulate it to the development team to drive solutions

  • Test product hypotheses and manage user testing cycles

  • Break down complex problems into actionable steps for the development team

  • Facilitate collaborative decision-making during workshops

The GPS Digital Customer offering helps public sector and higher education clients transform their businesses and customer interactions through innovative digital experiences. We work with our clients to create, design and deploy digital products that increase adoption and drive measurable results.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience with digital transformation, digital strategy, and implementation

  • 5+ years of technology consulting or other relevant industry experience

  • Experience shipping successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs

  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate with client stakeholders from various parts of the organization and drive successful cross-functional outcomes

  • Expertise with developing mobile technologies

  • Experience with using issue tracking tools, to include JIRA

  • Agile product development experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of team

  • Willingness to mentor junior staff

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

    Preferred:

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Scrum Certification

  • Security Clearance eligible
