Hybrid-Operate Pricing Desk, Pricing Senior Consultant/Manager:

The Hybrid-Operate Pricing Senior Consultant / Manager role (Pricing Desk) is responsible for supporting the sale of Managed Service solutions to clients/markets. The role involves:

  • Costing and Pricing of New Managed Service offerings:

  • Support multiple Hybrid-Operate pursuits as they arrive at the Pricing Desk:

  • Work with the pursuit team to understand the scope and complexities of each deal.

  • Using the existing Hybrid-Operate pricing model, generate the price for the pursuit team to share with the Client

  • If modifications are required to the pricing model, work with the relevant teams to ensure the changes are made in the most effective and efficient way to meet the client requirements.

  • Support ad hoc pricing/deal requests that arrive into the Pricing Desk.

  • Support RFI and RFP response and pricing efforts as required.

  • Work with other Hybrid-Operate team members to help create new custom cost/pricing models as required

  • Ensure that all pricing and costing assumptions are documented as part of all pricing efforts

  • Learn the various Hybrid-Operate solution and product sets.

  • Provide support for various back office activities including CP3 data entry, Tear Sheet data, competitive analysis, etc.

  • Assist with the operational "feedback loop" to ensure any lessons learned from recent transactions are baked into the standard pricing model when appropriate.

  • Support the Hybrid-Operate Pricing Desk in the development of specific pricing templates for Deloitte's Hybrid-Operate offerings for use by internal professionals (ex: RFI/RFP, Business Case, Proposal)

The ideal Pricing Consultant will:

  • Foster and enhance the Hybrid-Operate brand through strong managed services knowledge and experience from pricing, costing (strong knowledge of standard industry components and metrics), and sales/business development experience for complex deals/managed services.

  • A strong drive to take action and to provide on-time detailed deliverables

  • Strong understanding of Managed Services operational complexities and success criteria to ensure costing models are reflective of the true cost of ongoing operation, including identifying costs that may be missing and raising ideas as to areas where operational efficiency can be gained.

  • Strong understanding of Managed Service financial modeling and contracting terms/norms

  • Industry experience developing costing and pricing models for complex and/or managed services offerings.

The typical candidate will bring approximately 2-5 years of experience in these areas.

Additionally, a candidate must possess:

  • High integrity

  • Experience in developing pricing for managed service and/or hybrid operate services

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Solid executive presence

  • Ability to work as a team player

  • Willingness and ability to share knowledge with others

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Bachelor's degree is required; a Finance and/or Advanced degree(s) are preferred

  • Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, virtual and cross-cultural teams

  • Brings a positive approach, easy to work with and enjoys working with other accomplished professionals

  • Advanced Excel skills, including working knowledge of VBA and familiarity with/desire to train on LAMBDA

  • Advanced MS Office skills
