Senior Product Manager Workforce Insights Platform

Workforce Insights is new technology-enabled people analytics offering that is focused on changing the manner in which we engage with our Human Capital clients. By embedding the Workforce Insights platform into our client s data ecosystem, we provide organizational insights coupled with access to our people analytics experts on an ongoing basis, enabling our clients to make fact based decisions and know, not guess, how to compose and activate the workforce of the future.

Work you ll do

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to shape workforce analytics products and solutions. The right candidate will be expected to work closely with Deloitte Human Capital Consulting and our clients and project teams to develop and deliver on our product roadmap. The role will spearhead the development of a product for HR and workforce analytics, reporting, and data visualization. The role will lead a team of business analysts and developers, setting direction on product scope and roadmap, developing and prioritizing a backlog of requirements, and working with business partners to shape requirements, priorities, and sprint/release schedules. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for shaping the product and leading the teams who will build it.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for driving the vision, roadmap and requirements of the workforce analytics product

  • Work with Human Capital leaders to define market opportunities for workforce analytics solutions, and define requirements to bring those solutions to market

  • Lead the agile product development lifecycle as a product owner, attending stand-up and sprint planning to represent the product priorities, managing product backlogs, and defining user stories.

  • Write product requirements based on needs described by business and member stakeholders.

  • Work with UX, development, and QA to create and deliver on project plans

  • Work with senior leadership and engineering to drive the implementation of new products or features within acceptable timetables

  • Be a subject matter expert on owned products, work with sales, member advisory and consulting to launch and communicate product value to internal and external audiences

  • Lead the continual innovation and ideation for product evolution across multiple tools and analytic solutions

  • Serve as the product representative to customers in determining needs and communicating value propositions

  • Work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment

Qualifications

This position requires a highly-motivated, self-starter who can manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently related to various aspects of product management.

  • Bachelor s degree

  • 5 years of experience in product development and project management of software-based solutions; reporting, HR or analytics products strongly preferred

  • Experience with HRMS SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Workday or other HR system

  • Experience with HR reporting, HR data model, HRMS data structures or other HR reporting and analytics areas

  • Knowledge of HR data warehouse and/or data lake concepts

  • Knowledge of AWS architecture, particularly data and analytics architecture and Redshift

  • Demonstrated knowledge of scrum and agile process development

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and accepting continuous feedback and support across multiple teams

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet applications

  • Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively

  • Excellent organizational skills must be able to multi-task

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
