Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager, Human Services Transformation, Customer and Marketing in Portland, Oregon and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage informationtechnologyprojectandimplementationservicestounlockthevalue ofbigtechnologyinvestments rangingfromrequirementstoarchitecture,designtodevelopment,testingtodeployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions.Manageanddelivercomponentsofinformationtechnologyprojects,includingtheidentificationofbusiness requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures within the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Managedaytodayinteractionswith executives andsponsors;developandmaintaincontactwithtop decision makers.Participateandleadaspectsoftheinformationtechnologyprojectproposaldevelopmentprocess; contribute to the development ofproposal pricing strategies. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development workin connection to information technology projects.Improveinternalprocesses,andpromoteknowledgesharingintheteam,bycontributingtothecommunity of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 80% travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,Engineering (Any), or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five(5) years of progressive related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Working across all phases of the Waterfall SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) for designing,developing, testing, and implementing large solutions for enterprise-level clients;

  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project designof future-state and to-be systems, processes, and environments using Business Process Modelling, and Microsoft (MS) Visio;

  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzingclient requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Microsoft .Net framework, BizTalk server, MS Project, MS Visio, and SQL Server;

  • Coordinating the project responsibilities of cross-functional onshore and offshore team members to ensure efficient completion of project tasks;

  • Using Microsoft Team Foundation server to perform System Integration testing (SIT), Performance testing, and User Acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;

  • Utilizing MS Project for work plan creation, deliverablesscoping, milestonetracking, resource planning, and budget management for efficient and timely project delivery;

  • Developing white papers and benchmark studies to generate transformation opportunities, from visioning, design, pricing, staffing, to timeline recommendations;

  • Designing,developingandimplementingN-tierarchitectureapplicationsusingtheMicrosoft(MS).Net framework;

  • Designing, developing, and implementing batch-processing systems for bulk data processing using MS .Net framework and SQL Server;

  • Participatinginautomation,configurationmanagement,andreleasemanagementproceduresfor enterprise scale applications, utilizing Microsoft Team Foundation Server; and

  • EstablishingapplicationhealthmonitoringandalertingproceduresusingMSSCOM(SystemsCenter Operations Manager).

  • 80% travel required nationally.
