We are looking for a Strategic Communications Consulting Manager to join our Organizational Transformation practice in our Human Capital consulting offering.

Work you'll do
As a Strategic Communications Consulting Manager, you will use data-driven solutions to address the human factors affecting an organization's ability to reach its strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build comprehensive communications strategies, engagement initiatives, and project plans aligned to key client priorities grounded in communications best practices
Oversee communications workstream(s) from initial client meetings or workshops through production, review, distribution, and evaluation of content
Manage development of impactful content designed around storytelling principles for a variety of audiences using multiple communication channels, includingprint, multi-media, social networks, and web
Collect and analyze communications data, providing recommendations to adjust strategies and optimize approaches if needed
Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing best practices across communications, marketing, and business stakeholders in support of communications excellence across the project
Advance the Strategic Communications practice through marketing efforts, including sales calls, proposal drafting, and eminence
The team
Organization Transformation
The Organization Transformation practice is about transforming the organization (and the benefits providers that serve them) to support its business strategy. This involves helping our clients move from where they are today to where they need to be in the future. It could include changing the organization's culture, modernizing specific functions, re-designing the organization structure, and will require a combination of change management actions to execute the transformation. To enable our success, it will be critical to use data and insights to inform better ways of working together.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Journalism
Minimum six (6) years of experience in an external consulting or corporate communications role
Proven experience in developing and executing communications strategies and plans for a large business or organization
Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
Previous experience advising client executives on how to create a compelling story that ties the purpose of an initiative to the overall business strategy
Ability to interact and creatively communicate across a variety of stakeholder groups (from technical subject matter experts to senior executives), with ability to present complex information in an understandable format and tailored to specific audiences
Previous human capital consulting experience supporting clients
Previous experience managing interns/junior staff, or independently managing clients
Ability to work effectively in a primarily hybrid and virtual environment
Exceptional writing, editing and project management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills-including effective storytelling and presentation skills
