Senior Manager- Supply Chain & Manufacturing Operations / Sourcing & Procurement (eProcurement) - Strategy & Operations
Work you ll do:
Senior Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:
Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk
Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies
Practice Development & Eminence: Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point- of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices
Supply Chain Networks
Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.
A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience is required.Ability to travel up to 100% is required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Experience with delivery of e-sourcing/procurement related projects from the strategy through implementation phases with a focus on business process review and design
Experience with leading procurement technology packages and full life-cycle implementations with P2P technologies such as Ariba or Coupa
Experience with full procurement transformation including sourcing, P2P technologies, organizational change, and business process review.
Experience with direct and indirect materials, strategy and operational procurement, demand management and vendor/supplier management.
Track-Record of sales and business development in domain.
In addition, successful Senior Managers will also have the following preferred skills :
Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Willingness to mentor junior staff.
A Bachelor's Degree is required.
An advanced degree is preferred.
