The Team Manufacturing Strategy & Smart Operations (MS&SO):

Supply Chain Networks

Our Supply Chain Networks team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive advantages. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.

Work you ll do

Managers are expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:

  • Project Management: Lead engagement project delivery, and serving as PM/Work-Stream Leader for large, more complex, client projects.

  • Planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; requirements, work-streams, end to end delivery and oversight of project delivery team members

  • Help manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk, stakeholder and client management.

Our Supply Chain and Network Operations team helps clients transform their value chains into competitive weapons. We drive efficiency, improve flexibility, and increase responsiveness through proactive insights and decision-making. We advise, implement, and operate transformational solutions that bring world-class supply network and operational capabilities to our clients. We provide operational know-how, digital technologies, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions to deliver unprecedented client value. Additionally, we improve operations, product, and material flow across the breadth of the value chain and create greater supply network synergy and value through M&A events.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8-10 years consulting and/or industry experience is required, with the ability to travel up to 80%.

  • 6-8 years of technical architecture and design experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Manufacturing Strategy & Smart Operations

  • Understanding of automation ecosphere, partners and technologies

  • Experience leading project delivery teams, work-streams, and working with clients.

  • In touch with industry trends and where the market and technology are pointing

  • Exposure to concepts in the Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) space

  • Have led 1 or more mid- large controls projects engagements

  • Strong focus in either process or discrete industries

  • Experience/Ability to understand communications systems (Ethernet, ModBus, OPC)

  • Experience working with either DCS/SCADA/PLC platforms.

  • A Bachelor s Degree is required

In addition, successful Managers may also have the following preferred skills:

  • The ability to work independently, as well as manage small to mid-size engagements and/or parts of large engagements and their resources.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc).

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

  • An advanced degree is preferred.
