Manager, GPS Contracts
Provides support to Deloitte s portfolio of product andproduct bases solution Governmentwide contracts (GWC) as a part of the DeloitteGovernment and Public Services sector. Manages activities related to complexcontractual matters associated with the pre and post award management of GWC(Federal, state, and local municipalities) vehicles. Examples of the GWCcontracts can include the GSA Schedules/GWAC/MACs and State, Local, HigherEducation (SLHE) such as NASPO ValuePoint. Provides advice that shapes win strategies to enable Deloitte to securepositions on GWC vehicles. Interfaceswith internal and external clients, performs contract negotiations and ensurescompletion of various contract projects. Supervises and trains contractadministration staff. Performs detailed reviews and provides analysis ofmatters related to the sale of products and product-based solutions on GWCcontracts and communicates results to inform proposal strategy anddevelopment. Individuals in this rolewill have the ability interface strategically with client representativesresponsible for both developing policies related to GWC vehicles and theiradministration. Performs strategiccontract negotiations and ensures completion of various GWC contract projects.Manages GWC portfolio compliance program and trains account team and assignedstaff to ensure contracts administration is conducted in an efficient andcompliant manner. Ability to effectivelyand persuasively communicate with subordinates, peers, internal leadership andclients.
Illustrative Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for compliance and accuracy of the contractsadministration within assigned area of responsibility.
Serves as Principal Advisor on matters related to assignedGWC portfolio and works to align team actions with Practice strategy andobjectives.
Maintain and add products to assigned contracts portfolioincluding GSA Schedules and SLHE contract vehicles and oversees registration onstate and municipal bidders list.
Monitors assigned portfolio to identify compliance riskareas and opportunities.
Identifies, establishes, and maintains client relationships.
Effectively works with stakeholders to assess Federalprocurement policy and implement required actions.
Influences and secures approval from leadership for desiredsolutions. Assists with theimplementation of solutions, guides, educates and trains account and contractspersonnel.
Acts as the subject matter expert on assigned contracts andcommunicates key messages to stakeholders
Leads and coaches assigned resources.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
