Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Specialist Senior, Strategy & Analytics, Analytics & Cognitive in Philadelphia, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You ll Do

Participating in technology projects, from ideation, identification, planning and cost estimation through requirements, design, development, testing and implementation to production. Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of software applications. Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development. Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements. Performing conceptual and technical designs, including the use of object-oriented analysis and design techniques. Tracking application defects using defect tracking tools, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details. Identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting and enhancing Data Warehouse architecture for scalability and performance. Setting up data governance rules and maintaining data quality including duplicate identification and deactivation of unused Customer sites. Analyzing business requirements and creating reports for business users using Toad for SQL and SQL Developer. Assisting developers in building relevant Data Models and Data Marts for reporting. Providing setup and support for Customer Data Hub and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) interfaces by analyzing new requirements for Customer Data Hub, assigning tasks to development teams, and troubleshooting issues with Customer Data Hub. Conducting detailed gap analysis during Oracle Application Development processes, implementing custom solutions and identifying necessary workarounds to develop error reports and overcome gaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), CIS, MIS or a related field.

  • Two years of experience as a Specialist Senior, Advisory Analyst, or a related occupation.

  • Must have two years of experience with:

  • Identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for reporting and enhancing Data Warehouse architecture for scalability and performance;

  • Setting up data governance rules and maintaining data quality including duplicate identification and deactivation of unused Customer sites;

  • Analyzing business requirements and creating reports for business users using Toad for SQL and SQL Developer;

  • Assisting developers in building relevant Data Models and Data Marts for reporting;

  • Providing setup and support for Customer Data Hub and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) interfaces by analyzing new requirements for Customer Data Hub, assigning tasks to development teams, and troubleshooting issues with Customer Data Hub;

  • 80% travel required.
