Work you ll do

You will serve as a Senior Analyst on the Cloud Readiness team, a part of the Cyber Design Studio within the Information Technology Services (ITS) Cyber Security team. Our goal is to minimize cyber risks related to technology solutions that are developed, updated, or acquired by Deloitte. The Studio acts a cyber point of contact for project teams and provides services that include advising teams on security requirements, designing/assessing architectures, coordinating security testing, and confirming the completion of risk management activities prior to release.

Cloud Readiness performs control testing for new cloud deployments to validate appropriate security and technology controls are in place to protect data and assets. In addition to testing controls in Deloitte s cloud environments, you will also assist with maintaining the control library within a GRC tool.

As part of the Cloud Readiness Team, you will:

  • Identify, apply and communicate security control requirements to stakeholders and controls owners

  • Perform controls testing to validate compliance with control requirements in support of new technology deployments, including cloud

  • Provide recommendations to improve security posture in IT environments, including cloud

  • Support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) security architecture reviews

  • Maintain controls library in GRC tool

  • Support initiatives to educate Technology functions on technology security and compliance requirements according to regulatory requirements, firm policy, data classification, client commitments, etc.

  • Provide notification of updated controls requirements to technology functions due to regulatory and firm policy updates

  • Work cross-functionally with US and Global Cyber teams

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Cyber Security

Cyber Security vigilantly protects Deloitte and client data. The team leads a strategic cyber risk program that adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, changes in business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities. Using situational awareness, threat intelligence, and building a security culture across the organization, the team helps to protect the Deloitte brand.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience with controls testing

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Security and Compliance, including information security and technology regulatory requirements (SOC 2, ISO27001, NIST800-53, PCAOB, CSA, etc.)

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP and/or other equivalent licenses/certifications or willingness to obtain within 1-2 years

  • Strong communication, report writing and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently, cross-functionally, and lead a team of Analysts

  • Excellent time management and related organizational skills including appropriate sense of urgency and a proactive approach

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree

  • 3-5 years of experience with information technology security programs, audits, controls, assessments, risk assessments, or remediation management
