The fee-for-service (FFS) model as weknow it today may be headed for obsolescence. In its absence, Plans face acrossroadsenhance positions through new models and collaborations, or riskirrelevance. The shift from volume-based to value-based care isn t immediate,but the end of FFS in its current form may be inevitable. This change affectseveryone in the health care ecosystem.

Deloitteis seeking Managers who are professionals with deep industry experience and strong records of academic and professional achievement who havethe capacity and desire for continuous development and growth. Deloitte professionals must also be capableof working and communicating with people at all levels of an organization.
Managers provide clinical knowledgeto teams, lead multiple project work-streams, small engagementteams or components of large, complex engagements.
Typical project responsibilities of a Manager could include:
Develop the detailed, quantitative analysis work associatedwith developing meaningful insights to address Health Plan clients biggestchallenge
Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope
Develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activitiesbetween work streams and identify changes in scope
Design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contractand client needs
Strive to improve deliverable quality through verification andvalidation of results
Participate in the development and presentation of proposals forbusiness development activities
DeloitteManagers typically work with a project team dedicated to a single client,taking direction from the project leader. They work side by side with Principals/Partners /Managing Directors andother Consultants at all levels, often with exposure to clients C-levelexecutives, organizational leaders and team members. Managers will lead work streams of clientprojects and contribute to the overall engagement delivery. Project teams work onsite with the clientteam, typically necessitating travel three to four nights a week.
Bachelor s degree from accredited university with strong undergraduate academic record. MBA, MPH/MHA and/or Advanced degree in clinical sciences preferred (RN, MSN, MD)
Minimum of 6 years of professionalexperience in Health Plans industry, or a mix of a few years industryexperience and functioning as a Manager or higher in a Consulting environment.
Health Plans industry experience and subject matter expertise in strategicand/or operational components of Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Medicare PartD.
Demonstrates consistent career progression with increasing levels of responsibility; performed above expectations in professional roles
Ability to work independently; lead teams focused on specific workstreams of large projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and MSPowerPoint Visio, Excel proficiency
Willingness and ability to travel 80 %
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid Strategy, Go-to-Market (product,marketing, sales) Risk Adjustment and Medicare STARS
Advanced degree in health policyor MBA from a top tier program
Superior critical thinking,analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional interpersonal,team-building and communication skills
Outstanding integrity,initiative, creativity, and passion
Ability to work in an ambiguousenvironment
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability toexercise mature judgment.
