Work you ll do

As part of Deloitte s Industry Marketing team you will be responsible for developing marketing strategies and plans to support the business priorities of the TMT industry and strategic accounts that build market awareness and eminence, foster relationship development, and drive business and revenue growth with clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, maintain and drive prioritization of all marketing and communications campaign activities for specific accounts and sectors within Technology, Media & Telecommunications

  • Develop strategic briefs (business case) for potential marketing and communications campaigns; drive approval process for campaigns with key leadership

  • Engage the Green Dot Agency and global resources in execution of campaigns; oversee, in conjunction with the Green Dot Agency, delivery of campaigns

  • Proactively interface with account leadership and account team members to coordinate, communicate and optimize the impact of marketing activities

  • Offer solutions to adjust marketing programs and campaigns as needed to maintain alignment with account / sector strategies and goals

  • Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders including leadership and other areas of the national TMT team and the larger firm (e.g. Green Dot Agency, Cross-functional team)

  • Manage overall marketing calendar and budgets for campaigns

  • Along with the Green Dot Agency, develop metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign success

  • Serve as a liaison between the account and broader global and domestic Marketing & Communications community; search for ways to enhance collaboration between and among account and non-account marketing professionals

Skills and Competencies include:

  • Deep understanding of Account Based Marketing and its strategies including relationship management, marketing automation and campaign driven marketing approaches

  • Deep understanding of the business and its strategies, with a focus on Technology, Media & Telecommunications and the trends impacting these sectors

  • Executive presence, professional client service manner and demonstrated ability to take initiative

  • Strong persuasive communication skills; ability to gain consensus through influence and pivot when warranted

  • Ability to pivot to keep pace with fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities

  • Technical and digital skills, including data analytics, to facilitate the use of innovative technology to amplify marketing efforts and develop actionable insights

  • Demonstrated ability to think beyond the last mile of distribution and engage with client teams at the strategic level

  • Ability to make connections in a highly matrixed and global environment, with an eye towards integration

  • Ability to work in a virtual environment

Qualifications include:

  • 10 years of marketing experience

  • Strong experience in an Account Based Marketing or field marketing position required

  • TMT sector/industry expertise a plus

  • Undergraduate degree, ideally with a focus in Marketing; MBA a plus

  • Proven track record of driving measurable results using account based marketing methodology and techniques on large accounts

  • Previous experience in B2B marketing and professional services

  • Superior Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with integrating various technologies to support marketing efforts

  • Deep understanding of social and digital marketing tools, account branding techniques, account marketing KPIs, and marketing strategy and planning
