Work you'll do

  • Support clients with data protection, IoT, and overarching cloud capabilities.

  • Implement core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure.

  • Analyze tactical network architectures and topologies to assess security risks.

  • Provide expertise for DevSecOps Security Design, Architect and Setup in GCP

  • Lead the direction for the stand-up of GCP native security controls

  • Design, implement, architect and manage

  • Implement GCP Security best practices

  • Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues

  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports

  • Assist in proposal development, as requested

  • Serve as a "Subject Matter Expert", adding interpretive value to data presented or experienced insight into a functional process or issue

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

  • Experience using cyber reconnaissance to support a federal client

  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure

  • Experience utilizing software asset management

  • Expert level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage

  • Experience with Apache and Hadoop

  • Knowledge of networking principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.

  • Travel up to 10%

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

  • Previous Security Operations Center experience

  • Experience in mobile and endpoint security

  • Previous Federal Consulting experience

  • Experience with Information Assurance concepts and processes within the Federal government

  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal security regulations, standards, and processes including FISMA, FIPS, NIST, and FedRAMP

  • Proficient in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks

  • Knowledge of Application Monitoring using Google Stackdriver

  • Experience with Big Data on GCP - BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataflow

  • Experience working with: container technology such as Docker, version control systems (Github), build management and CI/CD tools (Concourse, Jenkins), and monitoring tools (App Dynamics, etc.)

  • Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as Terraform, Puppet and Chef

  • Experience working as Unix/Linux power user

  • Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
