Tax Transformation - Deployment Strategy Planning Senior Consultant

Over the past several years, Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax ) has had great success in delivering technology-enabled tax services to its clients. As a result, Deloitte Tax is expanding its Technology group. The Tax Transformation group is focused on developing new service offerings and technology solutions that assist us in delivering tax services to our clients. This is an ideal opportunity to be part of a cutting edge and innovative start-up environment within the larger Deloitte Tax organization.

Work you ll do

You will be responsible for establishing the overall deployment strategy, approach, and plan for specific platform releases. You will be involved in preparation activities, structuring pilots, and set up to enable deployment readiness. Additional responsibilities include:

Support day-to-day execution of the deployment plan activities

Support coordination between the Vertical business and Delphi technical leads and mobilizes the deployment network, as needed

Overall accountability for deployment, including benefit realization, budgets, planning and milestones, and monitoring

Work cross-functionally to solve program gaps that are encountered during implemented increments

Maintain current and deep technical knowledge of key technical and business specifications

Manage relationships workstreams, ensure timely reporting of milestone and dependency status, as well as monitor risks and issues to escalate to leadership

Support approach for pilot and scale efforts specific to a deployment business unit

Coordinate with change management, communications, and learning teams throughout all phases of deployment

4 years professional experience in business, technology or tax environment

Bachelor s degree in a business, technology, or related field

4 years experience leading large-scale system implementation and integration

Experience in professional environment developing polished presentations, talking points, and content

High proficiency in MS Office tools: Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint

Ability to travel up to 50%

Must be located in major metropolitan area


PMP or other relevant certification

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong listening, interpersonal, and facilitation skills

Able to interact effectively with professionals at all levels and communicate recommendations

Demonstrated experience working with and influencing as part of a team

Motivated, resourceful, and dependable

Understanding of Waterfall/Agile project delivery concepts and methods

Previous tax experience

Master s degree
