CBO PDSA Calypso Support Analyst TPP

Work you ll do
Vanguard is embarking on a journey to modernize their Enterprise Investment Product (EIP) from the current legacy monolithic DB2 database sitting on mainframe to AWS cloud native implementation where sourcing, storing and distribution is also moved to AWS architecture and broken down by the data domain bounded context.
Serve as the IT Support Analyst for the Business application support team
Face off to senior Operations, Development, Infrastructure staff as well as 3rd party support vendor and work to forge solid relationships with these teams
Ensure all capacity issues are addressed and applications are tested annually for Disaster Recovery
Provide environment planning and ensure all end-of-life technologies have a remediation plan
Assist with work driver and alert reduction efforts across the application portfolio
Support highly critical back office functions such as settlement and confirmations, regulatory reporting, collateral valuations for various products within Investment Banking portfolio.

Our Core Industry Solutions practice encompasses industry vertical, sector specific solutions that leverage distinct technologies to drive operational change and automate the core of the business. Examples of the type of work we deliver to our clients includes Digital CARE (Epic), Insurance CST (Guidewire), and Digital Banking Solutions (nCino).
The team brings experience from across Deloitte to leverage common approaches, best practices, and strategic investments to scale these solutions by industry strategy. Professionals will focus on key client issues that are at the core of the business by integrating our industry expertise with deep technical and operational transformation capabilities.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Primary Skills Required:
o2 years of experience in working with Calypso - collateral management system, support trading, risk management, collateral, processing, accounting and compliance
oideally 5 years with an Investment Bank or financial institution working for a Level 2 support team
oa proven incident & crisis manager with the ability to perform under pressure
odetailed knowledge of Securities, Collateral, Derivatives, FXMM and regulatory reporting applications and technologies
oUnderstanding of RTTP architecture, Gigaspace architecture and technical expertise to resolve issues related to those technologies.
oa natural ability to solve complex issues and lead complex technical projects
osolid stakeholder management and relationship skills
oa continuous improvement mindset with proven success in this area
oa complete understanding of the ITIL Service Framework (incident, problem, release and event management
oa confident communicator that can explain complex technical issues to non-technical and senior stakeholder audiences
Linux / Unix skills, Shell or Perl scripting experience and understand Autosys and MQ/EMS technologies
Experience in PL/SQL and VB.Net platform experience
Must be willing to live and work in the Malvern, PA area
