The Deloitte US Consulting Commercial Team is looking for a sharp project manager and communication specialist who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and working with senior Commercial Team leadership to deliver on our promise of enhanced go-to-market skills and success for Consulting leaders at all levels and the #1 Talent Experience for Commercial Team members. The Commercial Comms, Culture, & Operations Consultant will work with Commercial Team leadership (Client Excellence, Ecosystems & Alliances, Marketing, and Sales Excellence) to ensure critical Commercial operations run smoothly thus enabling our commitment to Commercial growth!

Work You'll Do

The Commercial Comms, Culture, & Operations Consultant will support the Consulting Commercial Team across a portfolio of strategic activities: operations, leadership meetings, strategic planning, talent experience, and more. Our stakeholders are wide ranging including senior Commercial Leadership (i.e., Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Consulting Sales, Ecosystems & Alliances, and Client Excellence Leaders) and our 600+ person extended Commercial Team.

Ideal candidates will have project management and communications experience as well as strong core consulting skills demonstrated by the ability to:

  • Commercial Team Operation Support: Establish & document strong procedures for maintaining tools critical to Commercial Team operations, communications, and culture (i.e., Commercial Organization Charts, Distribution Lists, MS Teams); Partner with Commercial leadership to coordinate monthly strategic projects status reporting process; Manage Chief Commercial Officer mailbox and meeting / invite support

  • Commercial Talent Experience Support: Build the foundation for strong team culture through team building and culture programming; Develop and deliver community townhalls; Serve as liaison to Commercial Well-Being Pillar, DE&I Pillar, Community & Culture Pillar, and Learning & Onboarding Pillar - calendaring, comms management, planning support, promotion, etc.

  • Commercial Leadership Team Support: Support annual / periodic strategic priority planning, leadership meeting planning and execution, and coordination of complex in-person leadership meetings - examples of strategic priorities include: Commercial Insights (AI generated sales and marketing insights) or Sales capability building across the organization

  • Commercial Strategy & Change Team Support: Champion team culture supporting weekly team meetings and fostering team culture through events; Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work; Work comfortably in a virtual environment - both independently and on a team

Composed of Marketing, Sales Excellence, Client Excellence, and Ecosystems & Alliances, the Commercial Team collaborates with Industries, Offering Portfolios, and New Business Innovation to develop GTM strategies that deliver on business priorities, create preference in the marketplace, and realize value in innovative ways.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, with experience in project management, internal communications, and operations - proven experience in a consulting and/or client-facing environment

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Travel up to 10%

  • Location: US **Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

    Preferred

  • Experience juggling multiple priorities, delivering against aggressive deliverable timelines, and reporting on status of multiple workstreams

  • Knowledge of and comfort with internal comms, operations, reporting, and talent experience topics

  • Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm, including top leadership - demonstrated executive presence

  • Success and comfort operating in an unstructured environment and leading through ambiguity

  • Unyielding focus on quality results (analyses and deliverables)

  • Expert in Microsoft applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in both in-person and virtual settings

  • Team player with a "customer-focused" mentality

  • Ability to coordinate across many constituents

  • Understanding of the firm's initiatives and systems including exposure to business development (i.e. proposal development, sales, etc.)

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
