Work you ll do
As an Audit Chief Data Officer, you will be an accountable executive with business responsibility for determining the kinds of information the enterprise will choose to capture, retain and use and for what purposes. You will have ultimate accountability for data quality and transparency for regulatory, risk management, and analytic reporting.Other responsibilities include:
Understanding of industry trends and key business drivers that impact profitability; Can evaluate business issues by applying data-driven approaches
Develop an assessment of the data landscape based on data accumulated in the business to properly define a data strategy to achieve business goals.
Develop business data strategy, including the development of an organizational data roadmap of data uses and data sources and ensures that information and analysis capability is available to support key business and regulatory needs. Able to understand how to lead data across the lifecycle from acquisition through consumption
Familiarity with emerging technologies such as natural language processing and generation, machine learning, robotics process automation, etc.
Work with product owners and professionals to address data requirements
Work closely with continuous improvement team to ensure that data needs are well understood and developed
Evaluate the data sets obtained or obtainable in the business to determine opportunities for increased efficiency and improving business processes.
Help lead and determine data strategy including introducing innovative technical capabilities, and being proactive in anticipating future trends and business needs.
Provide leadership input on all aspects of data enablement and consumption for the business, including data modeling and design; data warehousing; data movement and integration; business intelligence and advanced analytics
Improve how the business uses, manages, and monetizes data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to proactively define future data needs;
Help modernize the company s data capabilities to enhance data quality; tightly oversee data lineage; and extend digital capabilities
Oversees enterprise-wide governance processes related to the handling and use of data, e.g., data processing, analysis, data mining, data transmission etc.
Partners with IT and other functional leaders as well as with third party vendors in the governance of all data-related, technology decisions
Through effective leadership and governance, enables the advancement of a data-driven culture throughout the organization

Expertise in data architecture, modeling, extraction, transformation, and loading, data management, data governance, and related disciplines
Ability to gain consensus and enact decision-making
Experience leading cross-functional teams and facilitating large group stakeholder meetings
Excellent written and verbal communications
Creativity, foresight and ability to blend analytic and business judgment to problem solving
Experience with database technologies, Master Data Management, Big Data, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Analytics Platforms.
Experience working with diverse teams.
Proven experience in data warehouse, analytics platforms, and/or big data architecture design.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong contract negotiation and proposal writing skills.
Good communication (written and oral).
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Proven ability to set technical strategy, applying an in-depth understanding of the business strategy governing that area
