Deloitte Audit & Assurance Strategic Initiatives Manager in Parsippany, New Jersey
Seeking an experienced leader to develop strategic business plans that innovate and advance Deloitte's Audit & Assurance market offerings, including their underlying business, talent, and operating models. This role provides an exceptional opportunity for senior leadership visibility and to positively impact the practice's strategy and operations.
Responsibilities will include:
Track, analyze, and become the expert on a variety of market, regulatory, and technology forces to identify potential threats and opportunities.
Develop comprehensive, data-driven business plans and proposals with full consideration of related business dynamics (talent development, culture, brand, competition, risk, finance, etc).
Influence, gain sponsorship, and coordinate across lines of business, functions, alliances, & the globe to drive change and maximize potential.
Form and coordinate multiple workstreams to execute on business plans.
This role requires a high level of coordination and influence across the organization to maximize potential benefits; bridging teams, capabilities, processes, technology, and market demand/intelligence in order to develop holistic strategies. It will also require strong project management skills & agility in order to develop/adapt action plans while holding individuals accountable.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
5+ years of experience in strategy and operations, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must have experience in change acceleration and influence.
Must have strong communication at the executive level.
Experience with program/project management and financial and data analysis.
Ability to read complex documents, synthesize and summarize important facts
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint
Ability to think creatively, problem solve and work independently on multiple engagements
Proven experience in managing client relationships
Ability to manage and motivate teams with team members at all levels
Strong on-the-job training skills and a desire to teach
Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
Good project and time management skills
Good presentation skills and an ability to explain complex issues clearly and succinctly
Ability to build presence in the marketplace, network and build relationships, such as maintaining relationships with college alumni
