Alliance Senior Manager (Enabling Senior Manager) - Salesforce AMER Lead Alliance Manager

You will have the opportunity to establish and nurture executive-level relationships and interactions across Deloitte and Salesforce, shape and grow a strategic alliance, and lead a team of alliance managers in one of the most successful Salesforce partnerships in the market.

Work You'll Do

Alliance Senior Managers have a breadth of responsibilities that include:

  • Relationship Management - Establish and support executive relationships between Deloitte and Salesforce. Ensure Salesforce leaders are aware of Deloitte's GTM strategy, industry priorities, products and solutions, investments, and priority accounts. Help drive and coordinate interactions between our respective leaders (e.g., via QBRs) to create alignment, momentum, and deal flow.

  • Alliances Operations - Act as the "Chief Operating Officer" of the alliance:

  • Collaborate with Deloitte leadership to shape AMER (US, CAN, LATAM) regional alliance strategy, financial plan, priority initiatives, investments, and asks of the alliance

  • Partner with the global Salesforce alliance leader to drive overall global alliance strategy, priorities, and performance within AMER.

  • Understand and articulate the full impact of Salesforce's offerings to Deloitte leadership, helping inform our business on market observations, trends, and opportunities

  • Manage the AMER Salesforce alliance budget.

  • Act as an information clearinghouse as it relates to our Salesforce alliance

  • Manage communications to our AMER Deloitte Salesforce practice

  • Establish and maintain clear and consistent alliance reporting on key stats that matter to our joint businesses

  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce to set/shape training and certification goals for our AMER practice; collaborate with Salesforce practice leaders to incentivize, monitor, and drive progress toward those goals

  • Support key practice meetings and ensure that they occur regularly

  • Collaborate closely with AMER Salesforce marketing team to ensure AMER priorities are reflected in marketing strategy and execution

  • Shape new offering and ecosystem strategies - As Salesforce acquires new solutions, our assets and solution business evolves, and the vendor alliance ecosystem complexity increases, help prioritize where our AMER Salesforce practice should prioritize time, investment, practitioner upskilling, GTM activities, and Salesforce alignment

  • Team Leadership - Lead a team of alliance managers and practitioners across AMER region to efficiently and effectively deliver against the strategic priorities of the alliance and all activities defined above.

The team

Deloitte Consulting's Alliances Team is made up of professional alliance managers, alliance marketers, and technical architects who understand the principles that drive successful alliance relationships. Together, they enable differentiated, innovative go-to-market solutions between our practice and alliance partners that bring quantified value to our clients and incremental revenue to the firm.



  • Bachelor's degree, advanced degree a plus

  • 12+ years professional experience with 5+ years focused on alliance management or equivalent experience working with vendors.

  • Understanding of Salesforce and its products

  • Ability to understand and articulate value proposition for alliance products.

  • Ability to foster and drive relationships across the extended lines of business within Salesforce.

  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external constituencies, including senior-level executives, consulting resources, technical teams, and sales representatives.

  • Proficient Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Up to 20% travel required.


  • Understand the competitive landscape of application software is preferred.

  • Strong network within Salesforce and its ecosystem.

  • Experience working in or with System Integrators, such as Deloitte.


  • Savvy at navigating complex organizations and connecting the right people within each organization.

  • Ability to think strategically, while staying focused on monitoring the progress of action items and bringing them to conclusion within appropriate time frames.

  • Ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders to develop joint go-to-market sales and solution opportunities.

  • Excellent team player. Effective at sharing and communicating knowledge and supporting teammates in times of increased workload.

  • Highly organized and self-sufficient, successful with limited direction, upbeat and enthusiastic.

  • Strong executive presence, complemented by clear and convincing communication skills to respective client teams through oral, written, and formal presentation mediums.

  • High degree of integrity by honoring commitments and demonstrating consistent and predictable follow-up.

  • Strong aptitude and passion for driving operational detail and market impact.

    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
