Work you'll do
As the UI/UX Lead, you will be expected to lead team members in the planning and execution of the software development lifecycle for an "app store" for enabling mission operators to complete their job. In this capacity, skills on UX/UI, Angular and CSS development, Agile sprints, and more are fundamental to completion of the work. The lead will be responsible for guiding clients and the project team through Agile ceremonies, managing a backlog, and maintaining the sprint schedules. The Team Lead will also be responsible for coordinating across other workstreams to provide subject matter expertise to non-technical teams. A secret clearance or higher is needed for the role.
Responsibiliti es include user research, feature design, wireframing, updating a design system, and usability testing. Will join an existing team of senior UX designers.

Bachelor's degree required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
2- 5 years of design experience in a consulting or in-house environment
Depth of knowledge doing UX/UI, Angular and CSS development
experience in leading Agile sprints
A strong portfolio that demonstrates your experience, storytelling, and design presentation skills
Prior experience in reviewing existing systems and processes to identify UX issues and develop UX recommendations
Experience with modern design tools like Sketch, Axure, Principle, Framer, and InVision
Experience with usability testing and Agile Software Development Methodology
Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
