Deloitte's Content Strategy Leader is focused on providing visibility and opportunity on how best to create, adapt, distribute, and promote the highly relevant, valuable on-brand content necessary to attract, acquire, engage and grow relationships with our target audiences.
Given Deloitte's wealth of content and deep bench of thought leaders, the Leader's focus will be to provide our content authors, marketers, sales, business and industry stakeholders a dynamically aggregated and easily accessible utility of all content available and recommendations on how best to leverage that content along the brand to demand continuum. Using data-driven insights, the Content Strategy Leader will provide input/guidance on what content is being leveraged where, and how effective it is at driving business impact. Also, the Leader will be responsible for making recommendations on new content investment as they monitor and assess subject matter gaps and over saturation.
Evolve content tagging strategy to drive visibility and transparency into the breadth of content across the firm
Collaborate with the businesses, market intelligence, PR and SEO teams to identify and catalog trending content availability and recommend new and derivation needs to fill gaps
Work collectively with advertising leaders, external agencies, PR leaders and media buyers to develop a high-performing content-led digital campaign strategy
Monitor content performance through a variety of metrics (including periodic content audits) to ensure content is driving our ultimate business goals; and report out on learnings and recommendations on retooling approaches to further effectiveness
Closely collaborates and partners with content authors, creatives, marketers, sales, business and industry stakeholders to ensure alignment of content strategy, key messages and goals
Partner with Global counterparts in advancement and alignment of content strategy and roadmap. Strategize to codify content pillars and sub pillars with brand themes threaded through from brand to demand
Recommend efficient content creation processes, including optimizing for search engines earlier in the process
Recommend content distribution strategies including optimizing and repurposing content for platform and driving messaging down funnel
Work with Technology partners to own, operate and govern content management system
Work with Technology partners to develop, maintain and socialize calendar of content planned and in market
Commitment to in-depth knowledge of all audience personas
Leverages research of consumer thoughts and trends to inform recommended content approaches

Skills and Experience
12+ years of experience in marketing, communications, and/or publishing or other editorial roles
3+ years with an Agency or Professional Services firm a plus
Experience with Adobe AEM Sites, CMS systems, web analytics, SEO research software, and other tools that aid the content planning and publication process
Experience with Sales content strategy and working with Sales teams
Significant SEO expertise
Understanding of differences in marketing to audiences in different markets and environments - experience in B2B is a must
Hands-on skills using data and research to guide decisions
Experience translating data analysis into relevant marketing recommendations and executive-level presentations
High curiosity, drive, and determination
Comfort and experience working within a matrixed organization in roles with a wide degree of latitude
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $236,215.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
