Deloitte Senior Content Strategist in Norfolk, Virginia

Work you'll do

  • Conceptualize, write, and edit persuasive copy for cross-channel campaign assets, including sales sheets, case studies, thought leadership, video/motion graphics, infographics, web copy, social media, and email.

  • Understand and incorporate Deloitte's content strategy and brand positioning into all content, as appropriate.

  • Review work from junior team members, providing guidance to advance the best thinking in line with the brief and project scope.

  • Translate campaign positioning strategies into clear, user-centered messaging platforms that differentiate Deloitte.

  • Collaborate with marketers, account managers, strategists, and other creatives to develop creative platforms and channel recommendations that deliver on campaign strategic objectives.

The GPS Advertising, Marketing, & Commerce (AM&C) offering helps public sector clients connect with the people, stakeholders, and citizens they serve. Our team works with agencies to transform, elevate, and modernize constituent-government experiences. GPS AM&C creates brands, develops content, and implements best-in-class marketing strategies to inspire engagement, influence behavior, and drive adoption across the country.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience writing and producing a range of marketing communications assets

  • Clear, concise writing, with the ability to distill complex ideas into easily understood language

  • Fluency in both digital and traditional channels, including all social media platforms, content creation, and video

  • Strong copy editing and proofreading skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Security Clearance may be required

  • Travel up to 50%

    Preferred:

  • Experience with marketing professional services (consulting) or other B2B experience preferred

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your innovative work across multiple channels, including long-form and short-form content

  • Excellent project management and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects and manage competing priorities and tight deadlines

  • Ability to present to and interact with senior leaders and highly intellectual thinkers

  • Ability to work autonomously to deliver on-brand, on-brief copy with little oversight

  • Proven ability for quick creative thinking

  • A strong understanding of marketing and content channels and ability to adapt writing to fit the needs of the audience

  • Great taste, instincts, and knowledge of brand trends
