Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Conduct various Wi-Fi testing activities including:
Interoperability testing with various Wi-Fi devices and standards (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
Performance testing to measure data throughput, latency, jitter, and signal strength.
Security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in Wi-Fi networks.
Conduct Wi-Fi Interoperability Testing
Maintain detailed records of testing procedures, results, and any issues encountered. Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing test findings, including recommendations for improvements or corrective actions.
Work closely with network engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to address Wi-Fi network issues. Provide technical support and expertise to assist in the resolution of complex Wi-Fi problems. Stay Updated with Wi-Fi Technologies
Keep abreast of the latest developments and advancements in Wi-Fi technologies and standards. Continuously improve testing methodologies and tools to align with industry best practices.
Ensure all testing activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Implement best practices to maintain high-quality testing processes and outcomes.
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

Qualifications
Required
3+ years of experience in Wi-Fi testing standards and protocols, including 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
3+ years of experience using Wi-Fi testing tools and equipment, such as Wi-Fi analyzers, packet capture tools, and performance measurement tools.
3+ years of experience working with network security principles and practices, particularly related to Wi-Fi networks.
3+ years of experience Conduct Wi-Fi Interoperability Testing
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,000 to $143,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
