About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the end-to-end solution delivery process including resource allocation, serving as the primary interface with the client, and directing a cross-functional team to achieve established goals. This role will manage solution delivery through a variety of activities including process design, data analytics, solution configuration, and deployment, establishing performance metrics and new policies, testing, and knowledge management.
The role requires deep analytical, technical, and complex problem-solving skills with knowledge of optimization methods, statistical analysis, and certification & experience with OMP implementation and configuration. It also requires exposure to data science, and associated software and programming technologies. The successful candidate will be a skilled leader with a proven track record of driving results, exceeding client expectations, building trust across the organization, applying critical thinking and business management skills, and managing diverse groups of people and projects.
Roles and Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation resource for OMP business/data requirements
Ensure business processes developed from business/data requirement documentation adhere to industry best practices and align with client objectives and business model. Oversee collection and analysis of necessary data from sources like ERP systems, databases, Excel sheets, emails, and others. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data collected
Support Project Management and Client Management teams with capability listings, and effort estimates to define project scope, timelines, and execute signoffs with customers
Perform detailed discovery sessions with OMP end users to understand and document supply chain software requirements, including: the customers supply chain network, operating model, systems landscape, planning processes, as well as objectives and targets for a software solution implementation
Translate functional requirements into OMP technical requirements and assess complexity
Drive OMP solution architecture and design fit-for-purpose solutions. If needed, design new functionalities to solve complex business requirements
Define the overall systems architecture and data flow, including both standard software functionalities to be used as well as any software extensions needed.
Configure standard OMP functionalities (i.e. Tier 1), such as configuration of parameters, tables, objects etc.
Implement complex and more advanced OMP features (e.g.,Tier 2 &3), such as configuration of dashboards, pyramids, solver configurations etc.
Perform functional, performance & integrated testing of configured functionalities
Guide and coach lead configuration consultants throughout the project. Resolve technical questions and design issues
Apply advanced mathematical models, optimization techniques, and artificial intelligence algorithms to improve customer supply chain performance and achieve business objectives, such as overall costs reduction, inventory reduction, revenue or margin improvement, demand satisfaction, operations efficiency increase, and demand forecast accuracy improvements.
Understand Supply Chain Industry trends and benchmark customers performance against the same. Support data management and data integration activities, including source systems data transformation, data loading into OMP, data cleanup and validation
Support customer and project team on Quality Control/Quality Assurance practices to the configured solution, executing unit test scripts and supporting the execution of end-to-end tests and user acceptance tests
Support troubleshooting and resolution of solution issues
Assess project performance and document lessons learned to increase institutional knowledge
Ensure solutions team adheres to OMP methodologies and quality standards
Required Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementation & configuration of OMP modules, such as SOP, DP and OPR
Experience in OMP Data & Application Architecture and Features (incl. interfacing and new Release planning)
Experience in leading a team through the full lifecycle of a supply chain planning solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, testing, go-live/cutover, hyper care, and value realization
Experience in OPAL coding/development
Knowledge in OMP modules including OPR, SOP, DP, E2E architecture, and performance-influencing factors
Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the client and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields with a concentration in operations or analytics
Certified as a OMP Solution Architect or has completed all requirements for OMP Solution Architect certification (e.g., Tier 1, 2, 3 for OPR, SOP or DP)
E2E supply chain knowledge, and understanding of supply chain planning processes
Thorough understanding of supply chain planning concepts, processes (demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, etc.), KPIs and best practices in supply chain planning
Experience in Agile methodology to deliver large scale enterprise solutions
Experience in workshop preparation and facilitation; strong communication skills
Experience presenting on complex topics in a clear, concise, and effective manner
Strong analytical skills, data mining knowledge, and proficiency in handling and processing large volumes of data
Ability to identify key insights and critical thinking to prioritize and focus on the highest value opportunities or the biggest risks
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and demonstration/training skills are required
Ability to communicate mathematical, technical, or software usage concepts to audiences with limited background / knowledge on the subject
Ability to drive and work in cross-functional teams, distributed across locations and time zones and across multiple hierarchy levels
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and c ertifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $119,025 to $198,375.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
