Alliances Marketing Leader (Enabling Senior Manager)

As the Ecosystems and Alliances Marketing Leader, you will be responsible for building and managing a world-class B2B alliance marketing organization to enable growth within the Ecosystems & Alliances organization. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will oversee a team of strategic marketing planners and associates who serve our top alliance partnerships. Bringing experience in alliance marketing to bear, you will help your colleagues in developing skills and experiences to thrive in their role and accelerate growth of the business overall. To enhance growth, you will also be responsible for standing up account-based marketing capabilities to drive greater integration with sales teams. You ll need a knack for proactive problem solving, innovative thinking and operations to both operate the existing business but also expand into new strategic imperatives around broader alliance partnerships and ecosystems. This leader combines strong B2B marketing prowess with the pursuit of excellence, ability to influence cross-functionally and a positive attitude.

What you will do:

Build, lead and manage a world-class, B2B alliance marketing organization

  • Lead the Alliance Marketing Team (25 Strategic Marketing Planners) responsible for the supported alliance portfolio

  • Drive integration with Global Alliance Marketing teams

  • Leverage historical experience to define best practices, prioritize new capabilities and scale across the portfolio to drive growth

Own accountability for the ROI of Alliance Marketing and collaborate closely with Integrated Marketing Services Lead to enhance return through capability investments

  • Influence prioritization of Integrated Marketing capabilities

  • Build processes and workflows to ensure Alliance Marketers can effectively and efficiently leverage capabilities

  • Prioritize target alliances, as needed, to pilot and test capabilities, and support capability scaling, as appropriate, across the broader alliance portfolio

  • Regularly measure and report on performance of Alliance Marketing efforts to E&A leadership

Oversee a growing portfolio of alliances and define appropriate service models to maximize operational efficiency

  • Build and scale leverage models for existing and new alliance partnerships to drive efficiency across the organization

  • Define marketing service levels for different tiers of alliances and operationalize new support models

Build account-based marketing (ABM) capabilities from the ground up and establish playbook for broader use across the firm

  • Navigate difficult political and professional environments with collaborative influence to drive integration across sales, marketing and go-to-market teams

  • Establish ABM frameworks, capabilities and platforms across teams and pilot capabilities with select alliance partners

  • Oversee development of a detailed ABM playbook for Deloitte

Build and own the ecosystems marketing strategy

  • Define opportunities to achieve synergies across alliances and build bold marketing plays that enhance Deloitte s reputation and accelerate growth

  • Evolve the Alliance Marketing organization - including prioritized capabilities, processes and structural shifts, to center around prioritized ecosystems in the long term

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor s degree, advanced degree a plus

  • 10-15 years of B2B marketing and leadership experience, with experience in alliance marketing

  • 5 years experience in managing and developing cross-functional teams

  • Experience in standing up Account-Based Marketing capabilities within large organizations

  • Ability to make connections in highly matrixed environment, with an eye towards integration

  • Ability to pivot quickly to keep pace with fluid priorities; ability to manage multiple and complex priorities

  • Demonstrable ability to think broadly and strategically, making connections across the business that enhance the brand and support sales in a measurable way

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and adaptability

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate seamlessly between local and remote teams

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with integrating various technologies and tools to support marketing efforts

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
